Showcase
Technology, Inc., announced it
has acquired
Neptune Networks, Inc. adding high-speed Internet airport
stations to Showcase’s overall computer network, consequently
bringing its total inventory of controlled devices to over
1,000. Currently featuring over 900 high-speed Internet enabled
computer stations, printers, copiers and fax machines, Showcase
Technology, Inc. is a leader in providing automated business
center services to premiere hotels located throughout the United
States and Canada.
Paul Rajewski,
CEO of Showcase Technology, Inc., indicated that the acquisition
presents expanded locations and services for its client’s
business needs. “Through our acquisition of Neptune Networks,
Showcase Technology is in position to offer clients extremely
reliable, easily accessible broadband Internet and
telecommunications services to airport travelers,” said Rajewski.
Since 1999,
Neptune Networks has been a market leader in providing
high-speed Internet services installed across 13 major United
States airports.
Designed for
comfort and convenience, Neptune’s airport stations offer
sit-down or stand-up self-contained Internet kiosks with 15”-19”
LCD screens, CAT5 data port connections for laptop computers and
other features. Neptune Networks also manages wired and
wireless Internet services for numerous airline clubs.
“The
acquisition made absolute sense in terms of providing clientele
with seamless business solutions at both hotels and airports and
also produces the opportunity for increased advertising revenue
by offering advertisers access to a network of over 1,000
stations,” said Jack Driscoll, CEO of Neptune Networks, Inc.
Reliable
product configurations and a serious commitment to customer
service are the foundations from which both companies were
founded. Rajewski founded Showcase Technology, Inc. in January
2001 at the request of a prominent Los Angeles based hotel.
Through his previous 12 years of successful experience at owning
a computer company, his goal was to provide reliable and
comprehensive business center solutions to the hotel industry.
Jack Driscoll, former Executive Director of Los Angeles World
Airports (LAWA), began serving with Neptune Networks in 2000 as
part of his aviation-related work with numerous airlines and
airports.
